A lady recently told me of this dream like experience involving her deceased cousin. The lady concerned (I shall call her Jane) had an extremely vivid dream which left her feeling sure that this was perhaps a spirit visitation rather then just a normal dream. In life Jane and her cousin were never very close and in fact around a decade ago the cousin caused a major upheaval which almost split the family. While the family were still on talking terms with the cousin, who's name was Helen, nobody was particularly grieve stricken when Helen passed away at the end of last summer. Her death wasn't a complete surprise as Helen had been telling people how she was dying for the last thirty years, although there was never any confirmed diagnosis of a terminal problem. I suppose Helen was a classic example of a self fulfilling prophesy. As for the dream I'll continue this recount tomorrow as the time is now 12.50am and my bed is calling Regards Neil

A bit late I know, but I'll continue with this true account. The dream itself was very simple but according to Jane it felt very very real. In the dream Jane was sitting reading a book in her conservatory as she often did on a regular bases during the summer months. Hearing footsteps Jane looked up from her book to see Helen standing in front of her. She looked younger and very healthy. In her arms she was holding a baby which was wrapped securely within a blanket. Helen then smiled as she bent down and placed the baby within the arms of Jane, and that is where the dream finished. Jane woke at that point and couldn't believe how real it all seemed. The strange part of the dream is that Jane never saw the babies face or heard any cries but she knew beyond doubt that within the blanket was a newborn baby. Although Helen had three children in life, they were all grown up and in their forties so the baby surely had no relevance to them. You may think that possibly Helen's daughter was pregnant and that was the origin of the baby, but the true, startling, meaning came to light later on. Yes and you've guessed right, I'll reveal that meaning in the next post sometime very soon. Regards Neil

Ok it's taken me a long while, but I shall carry on with the final part of this true story.
It was only after a conversation with Helens sister that things fell into place. When Helen was a teenager she had a reputation as a good time girl, she was a social butterfly and never short of a boyfriend. After one particular relationship Helen was showing all the early signs of pregnancy. Word got back to her mother who decided to take matters into her own hands.
She forced Helen to sit in a bath filled with scolding water while at the same time she forced her to drink brandy until she passed out. This barbaric but common old fashion technique had the desired effect and Helen aborted the foetus within a couple of hours.
Jane is 100% sure that the baby in the dream/visitation was the child which Helen lost all those years ago. Maybe Helen was trying to explain the reason for her lifelong obsession with illness and her apparent desire to die.
Maybe she just wanted to be with her first child again.
